Very often I have dreams about carnivals, flea-markets and arcades with unique/obscure vending machine items. I think it calls back to a time when anything was possible to come out of a machine. Even at Stuckey's on highway trips "down-South", I would find a Mechanical Servants vending-machine outside the restroom that sold everything from switchblade combs to bird calls to Alka-Seltzer.
